Day 03: Favorite Pixar Film
A Bug’s Life

Whose favorite Pixar movie is a Bug’s Life? Are you retarded? Was the story in UP too complex for you? Did WALL-E not have enough wacky animals for your taste? God you’re an idiot. Please die now.

Okay, wow, for one, I grew up with A Bug’s Life. And Up is my 3rd favorite Pixar film. Telling me to go kill myself? Really? Really? Did I say it was the BEST one? No, I said it was my favorite. There IS a difference between the two. “Is Up too complex for you?” Wanna know why I love A Bug’s Life? Because Flik was an ant who basically was a good guy, sort of like Milo from Atlantis, but no one gave him the time of day, and the only person who believed in him and his inventions was Dot(Sort of like Belle with Maurice), who felt the same way about the way people treated her. Flik was able to be admired for who he is, and was able to still believe there was good in ants even though they treated him like crap. Maybe because Flik is such a relatable character to children, especially the children who get ridiculed for being different.  He stood up for what was right, he stood up to the villain, just like Esmeralda did. Also, I love the usage of colors in this film, I love how vindictive Hopper is. I love that Flik and Atta didn’t become this huge romantic thing (I mean there’s attraction, but it’s not the theme of the film) This is why I love it, and if you wanted to say your opinion, that’s fine, but you didn’t need to be so rude about it.
